Virtual Lies and Realities

A very big Hi to you Ram! I just wanted to let you know that you hold a very special place in my heart – don’t know whether it is day or night, hell or heaven, wherever it is, doesn’t matter. It’s just the sweet image of yours and gladdens my heart and makes me realize I am alive.” This was the initial part of the email that Ram received from one of his chat friends – a girl around three years younger to him. He had never received such a mail earlier, so he was delighted. He had first chatted with this girl year ago, and the usual chatting turned into something special. They shared their joy and grief via the net. They dreamed together a dream world where no one existed but the two of them and their dreams. However Ram had lied to her about a number of things and knew that he would be nothing but an obstacle in her way to success, when she comes to find out about it. And he could not keep lying forever and one day he had to tell the truth. That truth mail was the last o...

Chilly Mornings

Chilly mornings Chilly days are here again and people can be seen covered from head to toe with warm clothes. People like me, who dislike the cold weather, are in deep trouble. I started disliking winter more two years ago as I had morning classes at 6.15 in which I had to take part in practicals. Chemistry practicals used to be wonderful, as we had to carry our experiments for which fire was required. Standing before a lighted burner used to give warmth. But Physics practical used to be very tedious, minus the burner. In certain experiments, water was essential and feeling the freezing water  in the early mornings was something to be avoided as far as possible. The other most tedious thing used to be the microbus. I wonder why the bus get so jam-packed that there is no space even to accommodate one’s feet. Some commuters had to hang from the door like chimpanzees from a branch. So the door could not be closed and the chilly winds almost froze me to death. In order to avo...
Curiosity kills the cat She was a girl of eight years. Her years had got all the qualities that she was as she was. Her braided –pony tailed hair, curious big eyes that could tell the tale of its own and her smiley face lighted up the smiles in most of the wrinkled –smile forgotten face.  Being an only child of the family, she was the darling girl of her dad until recent years. Her needs were fulfilled in an instant. She was not only pampered child in the family but also among the teacher due to her talkativeness. There was nothing that the child sets her eyes on, be bought to her for her self amusement.  Her house was quite far from the town in a lonely area surrounded by trees and bushes. At times her imagination would make those trees as a real people and she used to talk non-stop with them sharing her daily routines and the happenings of her school.  The time like always was passing in its own pace. She knew how to read and write and used to read the hoar...

The Day I Left My Home

The Day I left Home The dusk is approaching so soon. The sun seems to be teasing me turning yellowish or rather more orange in the other side of the hill. Ah! I always love the scene of this sun getting engulfed by the hill. There is yellowish glow everywhere in the surroundings; yellow clouds, yellow hills, yellow sky and what nots!!!. The cloud is changing its form into an object that we could fly in today (these clouds turn into every shape I imagine it to be, I just need to think about the object and relate it to the clouds and lo and behold! it will change the shape.) I am now asking the sun of these parts to remember me as I really am going to miss him getting swallowed by the hill, as from tomorrow, I will be far away from this place. Moreover, I am not certain whether I am going to see this beautiful sun getting swallowed by the hill in the other part that I am moving to. I've sweet memories of this place, words are getting shorter to describe my memories...
